Our large helium letters and numbers require approximately 1.5 cubic feet of helium per letter or number. This also applies to our large heart balloons, rainbow, palm tree and diamond ring balloons. Small letter and number balloons are air-fill only balloons. They cannot be filled with helium as they will not float due to their design.
All our Letter and Number balloons have built in tabs to hang your balloons. We recommend air filling them because it's easier to control the look of your balloons, but you can inflate the large letters and numbers with helium if you desire. To inflate, simply slide the opening of the balloon tab onto the nozzle of the pump or tank until the fit is tight. The nozzle with go into the circular opening and underneath the clear plastic layer that has arrows directing the direction of the nozzle. If you have trouble, it will help to pump once or twice to allow the air to start inflating. Inflate until the balloon appears full, but be careful to not over-inflate, as this may cause the balloon to pop. Once full, slide the nozzle out and the balloon will automatically self-seal.
Don't panic! A few of our uninflated letter balloons will look different uninflated than with air in them. For example the letter O inflated may appear like the letter U. The letter B without air will look like the letter G. If you air fill them and it's wrong, then contact us right away!
